The "14th Korea Hoguk Art Exhibition" is an annual art competition organized by the Army with the aim of strengthening communication with the public and promoting national defense and security awareness among both citizens and soldiers. Now in its 14th year, this exhibition featured works under the theme "A Meeting of the Public and the Army Through Art," with submissions in six categories: painting, calligraphy, sculpture, literati painting, calligraphy, photography, and design. The submission period ran from March to July, with a total of 1,027 works received, including 460 from soldiers and 567 from the general public. After the first round of judging, 208 works were selected as winners. In the second round of judging, the grand prize (President's Award), along with the best, excellent, soldier’s excellence, special prize, and honorable mentions were decided.
