Drawing our love for the country and protecting it

The Korea Hoguk Art Exhibition is a yearly contest exhibition, which was first held in 2011, and has expanded its range of contestants from the Korean Army to all citizens of the Republic of Korea, marking its 11th anniversary this year.

Most particularly, 1,547 excellent artworks were listed in this year’s Korea Hoguk Art Exhibition under the theme of drawing our love for the country and protecting it, and 224 pieces of outstanding works of art were chosen by thorough examination performed by a group of expert judges.

Through the artwork of various categories, such as painting, design, photography, sculpture, calligraphy, and literary painting, this exhibition

wishes to deliver the hopes and wishes many people have for the Korean Army in the messages containing their love for our country and our country’s security.

We would like to express our most humble and deepest gratitude for those who sacrificed and dedicated their lives for the Korea in which we live today.
