Since 2023, marking the 70th anniversary of the Korean War armistice agreement, we have been carrying out the campaign titled ‘Collecting the Belongings of Korean War Veterans.’
UNPM runs this campaign to collect memorabilia from the Korean War to honor the service of its veterans, help the public remember the war's scars, and emphasize the importance of peace.
Join us in preserving these historical artifacts, which serve as invaluable exhibition and educational materials, showcasing the devotion and noble sacrifices of Korean War veterans to the world.
▶ Collection results for 2023: A total of 22,319 items were collected from 99 donors and loaners across 8 countries.
▶ Collection results for 2024: A total of 5,212 items were collected from 64 contributors across 9 countries.
▶ Some of the collected artifacts are on display at the special exhibition ‘Remembering the Footsteps of UN Veterans,’ with additional items from 2024 donors to be included in 2025. A few other items will be featured in the permanent exhibition.
