The United Nations Peace Memorial holds diverse significant events that can allow visitors to remember and commemorate the sacrifices and devotion of the veterans of the UN Forces and the UN Allied Nations and to pay their respect and gratitude to their dedication.
A Memorial Day commemorating the UN Veterans’ Day and celebrating the armistice agreement, events welcoming the UN veterans who revisit our country, volunteer group work to maintain the values of sacrifice and devotion of the UN veterans, cultural organizations upholding the dedication of the UN veterans and performing the roles of a civilian diplomatic cultural delegation, a walking event showing our gratitude to the UN veterans who have left us the gift of peaceful days while walking around a special cultural district for UN peacekeeping, promotion booths with the local community, and sharing events that are actively planned and held each year in order to remember the noble sacrifices of the UN veterans.
Based on our gratitude to the UN Allied Nations, the United Nations Peace Memorial will realize civilian peace and diplomacy by reinforcing our partnership and establishing international cooperation networking in order to extensively plan various activities related to communication with the UN Allied Nations, patriotism and national security, and world peace so as to uphold the honor of the veterans of the UN Forces.
