Marking its 12th anniversary this year, the Korea Hoguk Art Exhibition is an evolved version of the contest exhibition of creative artwork in camp, which first started in 1977, and now has expanded its range of contestants to all citizens of the Republic of Korea so that the military and civilians can work in harmony. The honorable Presidential Award of the Year 2022 was received for the first time in the category of literary painting by painter Eun-Hee Cho entitled The Trusted Army, which is an excellent piece of artwork showing that the citizens of our nation can lead a happy life thanks to the Korean Army, of which we are very proud. This touring exhibition, which was first held at the War Memorial in Seoul, will be held in the United Nations Peace Memorial Hall, moving on to the Independence Hall of Korea in Cheonan and to the Yanggu Humanities Museum up until December 25th, 2022. We hope that this opportunity can deliver the values of protecting our nation to everyone.
